Each of our classrooms begins with an age-appropriate environment that encourages children to learn, play and explore. For toddlers this means lots of large motor activities…balancing, climbing, jumping, crawling. The LifeStart curriculum for toddlers includes books, puppets, and pictures, songs, stories and caring adults who encourage language development. It means blocks, paper, crayons, paint and playdough for those first attempts at creating their very own masterpieces.  Our daily schedule reflects the fact that toddlers need consistency and thrive on routines. We introduce the concept of “circle time” and continuously reinforce positive social skills. Besides an endless assortment of activities that engage their interests and
stimulate their minds, our toddlers find laps for sitting and lots of hugs.
