School Age Coordinator Mike, picking up after school!

School-age children from 2nd to 5th grade come to our program after school for a safe, fun environment. Some children have energy to burn after a long day at school and choose outdoor games, jumping rope or rollerblading. Others prefer to work on their homework, enjoy arts and crafts, play a computer game, read or join in a board game. Early Horizons LifeStart program is designed to meet the needs of the school-age child for social time, exploring new interests and developing relationships with caring adults.

Jr. School Age welcomes children from kindergarten to first grade, focusing on reading enrichment, practicing good homework and studying skills as well as making time for the much needed play that every child needs.  With dramatic play toys, large hollow blocks and plenty of art and sensory activities, Jr. School Agers will stay busy in their few hours with us.

Early Horizons picks up children from local elementary schools such as, Stocklmeir Elementary, Nimitz Elementary and West Valley Elementary. Both School Age and Jr. School Age offer a full day of activities on school district holidays and minimum days.  See our rates below:
